Although the frame for the new car was started about a year and a half ago, focused build on it started at the end of the 2014 season. The hope was the the car would be ready for the beginning of the season, but realistically, it was expected to be ready for mid-season. Things always come up, right?
Well, lots of things come up. I would bore anyone by going into all the details. But as of right now, the motor is installed and runs, electonics (wiring--ack....) seems to be working. All that is really left is bolting on rads, sidepods, suspension/brakes, and bodywork.
A half-day at the local drag-strip to run up and down the strip to make sure it starts, stops, and there are no leaks should happen in a week or so. And, hopefully not jinxing us here, if everything works out, we will at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (nee Mosport), for the September events.
On another note, the previous car is far sale, at a very reasonable price. You can't go any faster, without spending a lot more money....
